Brand Partnership FAQ
Good questions.
Clear answers.
A practical guide for brands considering sponsored content, UGC, modeling, affiliate work, product seeding, paid usage or a longer-term collaboration with Skyler.
Every campaign gets its own scope.
There is no one-size-fits-all package for every brand. Deliverables, timing, creative complexity, usage rights, exclusivity, travel and paid media can all change the scope. Specific terms are confirmed in writing for each project.
The questions that matter before a campaign starts.
01Are rates published publicly?
No fixed public rate card is posted because campaign value changes with deliverables, production needs, usage, exclusivity and timing. A brand can send its brief and budget range to receive a project-specific scope.
02Do you accept gifting or product seeding?
Product seeding can be considered, but sending a product does not automatically guarantee content, posting, usage rights or a positive endorsement. Paid deliverables should be scoped separately.
03What information should a brand send first?
The most useful starting details are the brand and product, campaign objective, requested deliverables, launch date, approximate budget, intended usage channels, paid-media needs and any exclusivity requirements.
04How quickly can a campaign be completed?
Timing depends on the scope. Product arrival, travel, styling, production complexity, number of assets, approval rounds and launch deadlines all affect the schedule. A realistic timeline is confirmed after the brief is reviewed.
05Are revisions included?
Revision expectations are defined in the project scope. In-scope feedback should connect back to the approved brief. New concepts, additional assets or major direction changes can be handled as added scope.
06What are usage rights?
Usage rights define where content may appear, for how long, in which territory and whether it can be used organically, on websites, in e-commerce, email or paid advertising. Usage is separate from simply creating the content.
07Can brands use the content in paid ads?
Paid-media use can be included when specifically agreed. Sponsored distribution, performance creative, creator-handle amplification or whitelisting should be identified before launch because those uses can materially change the scope.
08What about exclusivity?
Category exclusivity can be considered, but the category, duration, territory and restrictions need to be clear. Broader or longer exclusivity usually has more commercial impact than a narrow short-term restriction.
09Does Skyler travel for campaigns?
Travel can be discussed for the right project. Location, dates, transportation, lodging, production requirements and scheduling should be included in the campaign scope rather than assumed.
10Can a brand request raw files?
Raw files are not automatically included with every deliverable. If a brand needs raw footage, unedited selects, alternate cuts or source files, that should be requested before production so the deliverables and rights are clear.
11Can a campaign be cancelled or rescheduled?
Cancellation and rescheduling terms depend on the project, especially once products, travel, locations or production time have been committed. Those terms should be confirmed in the written agreement before work begins.
12Can successful content be renewed or expanded?
Yes. Strong campaigns can move into additional deliverables, a longer partnership or renewed usage. Extended rights and new work are scoped as a new term rather than being assumed automatically.
Send enough detail to scope the work.
A short, specific brief is more useful than a vague “what are your rates?” message. The campaign does not need to be fully developed, but a few concrete details make the conversation much faster.
